Molasses is a thick dark sweet liquid that is obtained from raw sugar plants, also citrus molasses is a is a viscous product resulting from refining sugarcane or sugar beets into sugar.

Citrus molasses contains 10%-15% soluble solids, of which 50%-70% are sugars. This material makes more than 50% of the total weight of canned food that can be used for the feed mill.

Citrus molasses is similar to sugarcane molasses and it is used to feed dairy cows. It is too much bitter that makes it is unsuitable for human consumption. But it doesn’t use for poultry feed, it has been suggested that sugarcane can be used instead of molasses.
