Another amino acid in poultry feed called lysine. Also, lysine is an essential amino acid used in poultry diets to help ensure balanced nutrition and performance.
The enzyme, that is need to break down Arginine, is arginase. It facilitates the formation of urea and ornithine from arginine. This enzyme is present in the mitochondria of kidney. The amount of this enzyme also increases when poultry is fed diets that contain large amount of arginine, lysine and other amino acid such as histidine, isoleucine, tyrosine or ornithine. If the amount of lysin is too much in the diet cause mismatch between lysine and arginine an reduce poultry growth.
If diets don’t have enough lysine, cause birds and poultry is placed in a negative nitrogen balance and this point will be reduced by adding lysine to the diet.
