Barley is one of the oldest cultivated crops and it is as food with medium energy and protein that its features are similar to oats and T. monococcum. The highest level of cultivation in Iran is in Khorasan Razavi, Kermanshah, Lorestan, Hamedan, Golestan and Fars.
